OMG!!!! I can't wait!!!! Kame and Jin kept joking about it during their concert ^_^ I think the #2 was the best followed by #3 then 1. The storyline is the typical high school teacher (whom has an interesting back ground) tries to straighten out a bunch of juvenile graduating kids.

So Part I on the BTR concert is over. Here is a quick cap of what happened.
Day One: Nakamaru didn't jump and Special Guest was Yamada from Hey!Say! Jump
Day Two: Nakamaru didn't jump and Special Guest was Chinen from HSJ
Day Three: Nakamaru jumped and Special Guest was Aioki from HSJ (noticed a pattern yet?)
Day Four: Nakamaru jumped and Special Guest was Hikaru from HSJ
Day Five: Nakamaru didn't jump (cuz guys made him jump from the highest level) and Yabu
Day Six: Nakamaru no jump Gueast Takaki (he's cute)
Day Seven: Nakamaru got Ueda to jump for him from the very top and Guest was Nakajima
Day Eight: Nakamaru jumped from the very top and guest was four members from Kanjani8 (Ryo-chan!!!!)

KAT-TUN will be starting their Osaka 3 days this weekend (hopefull th H1N1 will not cause a cancellation). It was also announced that they will be doing another tour (no longer called 'Break the Records') from July 20 - Aug 23 for the other major cities in Japan.

Johnny's Entertainment is gonna apply for KAT-TUN to be in the Guinness Records for beiong the first group to hold the longest amount of concert days in Tokyo Dome.

Nakamaru-kun did jump today(17th in Japan)!!!!!!!! The staff had to lower him a bit before he jumped but I think he's trying to work his way up ^_^

He's been forced to do the bungee cuz I think it was in their T.V show last fall, he was suppose to bungee but he sat at the top for about 50 minutes taking up film time ^_^ (shouting, "This is SCARY!!!!!). Kame took over for him and jumped (including the time it took for him to put on safety gears, Kame jumped within 5 minutes O_0) The other 4 wouldn't stop bugging Nakamaru about it (poor guy, I'm afraid of heights too). After Kame's jump they all met up on the ground and Nakamaru was wearing his hoodie. When Kame asked why he said he has helmet head ^_^They all yelled back "Well, if you would have jumped in the first 5 minutes like Kame did then you wouldn't have helmet head!" ^_^

They like to call Kamanashi=Kame cuz Kame in Japanese means turtle and the guys find it funny calling him that. Which leads to the guys form the other groups like NewS (mostly Ryo and Yamapi) to call him that too ^_^

We've jumped over the first hurdle of the season at work so now I dedicated this day on finding out more about the KAT-TUN concert which started on Friday May 15th, Japan time.
Not sure how the concert actually will go, (still looking into it ^_^) but apparenty each night the concert will be produced by a different member and each night will have a different theme (Planets?). However, there are 10 days in Tokyo and 3 in Osaks so I don't know how the order will go and who will be producing which days. Each night they will be performing in front of 55000 people at the dome. For the entire tour they would've performed in from of 690000 people.

Kamenashi - Mercury/Water, Akanishi - Mars/Fire, Taguchi - Moon, Tanaka - Sun, Ueda - Saturn, and Nakamaru - Venus .

So far Kame and Uepi went and both nights went fairly well from the reports I've read. Nakamaru was suppose to bungee jump off the highest part of Tokyo Dome but didn't at the end. Maybe he's leaving it for the last night? Jin sang some lyrics wrong?!? For their debute song, Real Face, they switched some parts with eachother.

The circle down in the middle is a stage where they had water spouts around it. The stage is the area with the lavender neon lights. They have trollys which pushes them into the audience areas on ground level. If you YouTube: Break the Records, you can find some poorly videoed but highly appreciated FanCams of parts of the concert (filming in the concert hall is not allowed). For his solo, Kamenashi started off being in a cage wrapped in chains suspended high over the stage. Then all of a sudden he falls out of it making the entire dome scream. He appears a few seconds later in a beautiful floral kimono and starts his song, 1582. I love theat song. My next fav song is Saditic Love and White Christmas.

My little cousin is coming back to Edmonton in less than a month, can't wait!!! He's got a lot of goodies for me from Japan ^_^

OMG! I just spat all over my key board!!! This is hilarious!!! Massu was so not following cuz he was busy shaking hands with the fans, Koyoma and Tegoshi look like girls, Pi with his 'Annie' hair, and Ryo with his hand glasses. The only one who looked 'normal' was Shige who was very focused on the dancing cuz he was having a lot of problems with it. The guys have really out done themselves this time. It's completely different from the songs they're use to doing. I'm so asking my little cousin in Japan to get me this single ^_^( poor guy).

.....my Mother askes me ot re-set the timer on the x-mas lights. It never seems to work when she tries to set it up every year.

This year she got a new one for the inside of the house and I swear to god it looks complicated enouth that it may just set off a bomb somewhere else across the globe. There is 20 setting I can program fot the lights to turn on.....Why she got that I will never know but I only set it to turn on at 4:30 till 12:30 everyday ^_^.

Oh! then she went and got a couple reighndeers.......and set it up on the inside of the house!!!!!I come home Friday night and went *blink*blink* EH?!!!?! Sothe next morning I asked her about it and her response was that they will get cold and dirty if she set it outside.

~sigh~ I will never understand her ^_^

So I've been working on something that's x-mas related but for myself. A Kamenashi doll from the new music video White Christmas. I hope I finish before x-mas O_0.

I made MOMOsThe colorful one on the bottom has gold thread twisted into the yarn making it look very festive ^_^.

At work we chipped in to get a Sock Yarn package for Robin's Nest. I got the Cotton Candy yarn (the one in the middle), the 2.25, 3mm, the circular needles, and the tape measurer. I left the CD of patterns at work so I'll have to check them out tomorrow.

Haven't done much x-mas knitting or shopping.....

It arrived!!!!! All is well.

So the past few days has been a little hectic around here. Nephew is out of the hospital now. He went in on Tuesday morning(....6am to be exact) to have a shunt put in his head to drain fluids that has been collecting from radiations he's gone through. He's upset cuz he had to stay in the hospital and in a bit of pain which is expected, but the surgery went well. I took 3 days off work to help my now 4 mth pregnant sister out since she can't bend down to pick up her son to put him to bed or to sit up in a chair.

Christmas is almost here......heard it's gonna snow next week.

The CDs arrived on the 25th (Tuesday) But I was soooooo tired that I couldn't really shout for joy. It took me forever (^_^ that's actually the title of one of the songs in color) to get eh pic right so that there are no light reflecting back to the camera.The second Cd is Shuji to Akira which came out in 2005 but I had to get $39 worth of good to get free shipping and I had asked my cousin (Ah Mosh) who visited Japan in September to get it for me but apparently it is all sold out there so I go it too. So color has been in my car since Wednesday morning and I have to say I'm very glad I bought it, along with S to A.

So the craft show last week....last week? I don't remember when now but I had said I would post pics of the cards I made. tada!My only sale of the night was one of the Japanese gal card.

This was the booth I shared with SpacePiper. The sock monkeys were on another table to the left. Dellybean also made some mushrooms and knitting needlecases to sell.

First me sent me an e-mail telling me he forgot, sorry. He only remembered once he saw his students carry some goods around that he remembered. I replied back that's O.K. and chatted about random stuffs while I cried a little inside. Then he replied back asking if a saw the attachment he sent of some of the stuff I thought were his students and I said 'yes..... are you allowed to confiscate them then send them to me?' To which he replied that he forgot to tell me that he got the goods and theat he's waiting for an on the way parcel from his parents to re-use the box for me. YAY!!!! I thought it was funny that his students kept their stuffs in their wrapping still...maybe he did confisxate them 0_O? He also told me that it a A LITTLE BIT embarrasing for him cuz he was the ONLY MALE standing it line for stuffs. There wasn't even a boyfriend or male guardians insite ^_^. I luv him!!!!! I sent him air hugs already ^_^. This was the pic he sent.

Last Thursday I went to an arts and crafts show and spent a lot of money on Christmas presents. I got this for one of my co-worker's b-day. I can show this pic cuz she already for this on Friday. It's a bookmark cuz she likes to read.On the same night I decided to attempt to set up my oun crafts table at the Universuity. Dellybean has a connection who is setting up a crafts sale for one night. I'm gonna sell:

You can see that there is only one monkey with eyes, its cuz I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME to put the rest on so I may have to sell them as is. They still look cute I think. As of now I have 10 to sell. Then stealing Delly's idea: to make kits for the monkeys to sell as well. I got 4 cake pin coushins and A crochet ladybug. Very random stuffs that I had made. If I had more time I wish I could have made a few MoMos to sellI had already given them all away as gifts except for the top one cuz he is my fisrt born ^_^
I also have some handmade origami cards that I will post pics of next time.

SpacePiper will also have some silver jewelery to sell.

I just got a reply from my lil Cousin in Sapporo, Japan that since the concert is on a weekend that he would go check out the concert goods for me!!!!!! The poor kid is gonna regret being related to me ^_^. He was the one I made the Moogle for a year ago.

3 more weeks till I get my Color CD!

This weekend I worked at my other job again (as a cashier for the convention center) and the function on Saturday night didn't open their doors till 9pm, started at 10, and didn't get busy till 12:30. I stayed till 2am doing absolutely nothing cuz it was not busy and my shift started at 7pm. I did sneek in my knitting but after touching $ I didn't feel like knitting....did I just type that??! Friday night was a boxing match which are usually quite entertaining but that night a car dealer decided to part these 2 Land Rovers in front of my booth. So all I was the entire night was tinted windows and the 2 barely clothed girls advertising the cars.

Got My Winter Tires On!

So my aching knee told me that it may snow, so I quickly called my shop and they were able to fit me in 2 days later so I jumped for joy cuz last year I had to wait 2 weeks. Then, guess what? It's gonna be 18 degrees on Thursday! ^_^ Oh, well, better safe than sorry.

Over the weekend I knitted a touque for my friend who I hope will like it. His B-day is comming up. I think I might send him a pic first to see if he will wear it before I send it to Toronto.

I'll be working the Rocky Mountain Wine Festival again!!! Yay to new alcohol!

I'm back from Calgary!

So my friend’s wedding…. I woke up that morning at 7am to go over my speeches and found some mistakes which was good. After the wedding ceremony (which the bride had sent us the Goggle link to the wrong place ^_^) during the pictures time I go a hold of the brides father to practice with me again the names. There was a few people who were his cousins that he didn’t remember what title his daughter should address them by, so he found them and then it turns out the bride had accidently left someone else out, so good thing we checked!
The other M.C. and I kept having panic attacks between the photos time and the reception. We sat at Tim Horton’s for a snack and I kept chanting “we’re good, we’re beautiful!” Right before the dinner was to start the bridesmaids gave us SOME drinks and I think that helped to calm our nerves. ^_^

The games we played were:
1) The bride and her M of H use to play trick on the groom by getting the M of H to call the groom on the phone and pretend to be the bride. It’s been going on for a few years so we decided to test him one last time. He got them all right.
2) Put 5 different color gummy bears into the brides mouth and the groom using his mouth has to get the color of the gummy we chose out. It my sound a bit Eeewwwww but they did it.
3) Traditionally in most Chinese weddings we play this game where the bride has to roll a raw egg up one pant leg of the groom and get it down the other safely. This time we used a cell phone instead and gave the number out the # to everyone so that they can call while the phone is in the groom’s pants. The trick is that the bride has to answer the phone and tell us who the caller is.

Getting the newly weds to kiss: ppl had to do karaoke. Of ppl start to cling glasses the other mc and I got to go to that table and pick someone. The first table that started to cling was the bride’s brother and cousins. So we picked her brother and for the longest time he kept saying “I don’t know any love songs and blah blah blah” which made it kind of awkward for a while but finally we convinced him and the rest of the night went by fairly smoothly.

The cutting of the cake. I guess one good thing about being MC is that I have good views of everything.I got this and the thank you from the bride: Yarns and a stone face tissue box ^_^

There is this one story the bride hasn't heard yet is that they had almost lost both MCs that day cuz we were being silly. After the ceremony and timmy's I went with the other mc to his friends place so that we could change. He was staying at that friends house, after parking the car we got in the elevator and he had the key swipe thing that we swipe before we can punch in the floor we want. We kept hitting 8 and nothing worked. So the nautral thing to do is to press every floor!. Well the elevator took us to 5 then quickly dropped us back down to main. we got out, let the door close and then pressed it open again. Got in, pressd 8 again the it still wouldn't work so he pressed a bunch of buttons again this time 3 worked so we went to 3 and, when we got there we pressed 4 and it worked! so we're like this is stupid I guess we're going floor by floor then. We got to 6 and had decided to just walk up 2 flights when he hit 9 and we thought that doing down is better than up so we got the 9, got out, and went to the stairs......we got to 8 and the dorrs wouldn't open!!!!I got out my camera and took a pick of him trying to pry the doors open. ^_^ we also hod no reception on our phones there so we're like fine! we'll walk all the way back down! When we got to 6th flr the door said crossover so we got out there and went to the elevators. By then we had reception so we called his friend who told us that actually he lives on the 9th floor thats why the elevator took us there. My buddy was soooo sure they were onth e8th floor. So that was our story^_^. In the stairwell we were picturing the bride asking everyone is they had seen us ^_^. Moral of the story, do not go into ctairwells unless you know you won't get locked in and remember which floor you are on .

That’s all for now, sorry for the wordy post. Oh! I think I almost have all my stuffs for the Boo-ty 3 to be sent out! I have one of every requirement; just want to add a few more treats. I can’t wait till she gets it.

So a long time ago my friend asked if I could be her chinese M.C. for her wedding. Thinking it was no biggy I said yes. Now the wedding is tomorrow and I AM HYPERVENTALATING ALREADY!!!!!!! I thought I was gonna be introducing them as only Aunts and Uncles w/o needing to say their full name and title in chinese. I have to..... I go the list last weekend at the brides shower and since then I've been asking anyone I know who knows how to read chinese for help. My M.C. buddy was so wonderful in that he had written most of the speeches out. Last night we got together to decide who's gonna read what. I think we should be fine but I'm still nervous.......We haven't done a practice run yet!!!?! AHHHHHH! So I'll be going down to Calgary this afternoon with my friend, B. He's driving so I get to annoy him by making him listen to my speech! MWAAAHAHAHA!....wait.... I can't read in the car cuz I get headaches!!! I can't win!!!!!!

My lil cousin Mosh (lil cuz of the height thing and 11 months) just came back form her vacation to Hong Kong and Japan and she got me lots of goodies! My fav one is this DVD. There is this one song where one of the singer unzips his top to show off his amazing abs while this GI-normous water fountain is going off around him.

More deco. Photo tables of family members and bridal party. There was this one pic that I forgot to destroy which was of myself, the bride, and two of her cousins in the bathtub having a water fight taken like 19 years ago. Happily we were all in bathing suits. ^_^

There was these arrangements on tall vases on 6 out of 57 tables that were the 'families' tables. After the wedding my Aunt kept giving flower arrangements away cuz there was WAY too much.

My cousin spent soooo much effort making sure her guests were comfortable and happy that she provided kids with these fun packages and then by the dance floor she had 2 large basket of Joe (Superstore brand) ballet flats for ladies who were wearing heel and are sick of them by the time of the dance and can change into them. They get to keep them too.

The day was amazing and I wish them I wonderful time on their Honeymoon!

OMG!!!!!!!! I've been so busy lately with a cousin's wedding (Congradulations Adrienne and Bobby!!! What is your proudest knitting moment? a month before my nephew was born I knitted him little botties. I had tears in my eyes when I was done.

What is the one project that you've never been able ot complete? I have tonnes. Socks, scarves, touques, I just have too many on the go. ^_^

Going to go see the Backstreet Boys tonight ^_^ I loved them when I was in junior high. It'll be interesting to see how they've grown as a group after so many years.

Just finished watching another Jap Drama ^_^. This one I'm not sure why I waited so long to watch. It has both my fav. jap. guys in it. "Nobuta wo Produce" Shuji Kiritani (Kazuya Kamenashi) is one of the most popular guys in his school. He ispretending to care for all of his classmates, but deep down, is quiet and doesn't open up toothers. But for some reason,when his eccentric classmate Akira Kusano (Tomohisa Yamashita) is around, he can show his true self. One day, a new girl from another school comes to Shuji's classroom. Her name is Nobuko Kotani (Maki Horikita). Nobuko=Nobuta. From her gloomy looks, she begins to get harassedby the class bullies in no time. The harassment was devastating. Her lunch gets ruined, she gets a vase of flowers on her desk meaning she had died, and she even gets splashed with wated while she is in the toilet booth. After knowing that the bullying is by Bando (Fumiko Mizuta), Shuji and Akira advise Nobuko to try to harmonize with others. But Nobuko tells themthat she has tried to do so in the past, but every time it turns out miserable. Shuji tells Nobuko to have a more positive attitude, and he protects Nobuko from the harassment. However, he feels that the bullying won't stop that easily. Hearing about this, Akira comes up with the idea to makeover Nobuko from her looks toher personality, so that she'd become one of the most popular girls in their school. (Spoilers!!!!) Instead of the typical geek turns into hot chick story line this one seems to be more realistic. After her make over, Nobuta ( the name given to her by Shuji and Akira) kept a lot of her original self through ou the show. Unlike other female students who ALL shorten their skirts in their uniform, she kept her the intended lenght. A '"friend" had suggested to her to change the way she speak and she did try it for aday and then decided that she doesn't like it and stops. Instead of the usual falling for the hot guy (in this case guys) so becomes best friends with them. She had gradually became popular because she tries to make other people happy, she thinks about other before herself. As for Shuji, I had thought he was a mean person because he is such a fake but the reason he did that was to make other feel better. always being in a happy go lucky mood, always agreeing to others suggestions and helping out others. It turns out that it wasn't really Nobuta who is the loner in the show but Shuji who in the end after finally making true friends, has to move away cuz his father gets transfered to another firm at work. However, it still ends as a happy ending. Want to know why? go watch it on Veoh. ^_^

I got part A of my second SP 12 package!!! I got 2 balls of Peruvian Baby Cashmere in lavender and a ball of Peruvian Baby Lace merino in charcoal. I LOVE them!!!!!!! They are the softest thing in the world! ^_^ Thank you SP12 Pal for the gift cert.Last Saturday went out to dinner with gal pal H and we ate a lot ^_^. For dessert we had this banana crepe in cinnamon sugar with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. At work we have this lady form Manitoba come in to teach the staff fingerweaving. Here ais her book and some samples I did on the first day.

What Olympic event would best describe you knitting style? Triathlon. It never seems to end ^_^.

Went to see my naphew again today. He seems to be doing a bit better. Thought the family got a little scare last week when he went in for a MRI requested by his doc. Usually his MRI takes a little over a hour but this time he was in a a long time and we all started to worry and asked the nurses why he hasn't come out yet and they replied that the doc wants to take a few more scans. The only reason that we thought of that the doc would want to take a few more scans was cuz they foung something else in his head. It turned out that he had woken up 2/3 of the way and they needed to knock him out and redo the scans. They believe that there is water collecting in his head and MAY need to put a shunt thing in to drain the fluids. I still am not too sure ~_~.

On the brighter note I got my second gift form my Sp 12 pal. A gift cert to Elann.com and Adagio Teas. It took me a while to decide that to get and I can't wait tilll they arrive so I can who you. Thank again SP12 Pal!!!

Also, my Swap Softly 2 pal got her stuffs! The post office had told me it youd take 3-4 weeks to arrive my air, and I thought through Pluto?! but nopt only 6 days! ^_^

Man! I've been eating A LOT lately and it's weird cuz it's been crazy hot again lately. Mwaaa!!! Gotta go loose the flabs building up ^_^.

Have you ever had you knitting entered in a fair? Would you ever consider it? Nope! Probably not, I personally think it will take the fun out of my knitting. ^_^

So I just finished watching another Japanese show. My eyes are red from bawling. Yes, people you read correctly, I cried! The movie is called Yuuki filmed in 2006 about a young man who travels to Australia and meets up with other Japanese people who are also there to work on visa. They all meet at this little Japanese foreign exchange boarding house-like place and usually when people leave they always say "See you!" when in realilty they know that they will probably never see eachother again. Until a guy name Yuuki gets this weard deasease where the bones in his scull are slowly dissapearing. It's a case that has only happened to 8 other people around the world. He encourages the people he had met in Australia to go visit him and even in his state he had still managed to cheer people on and make other smile. He never gave up. It was a beautiful story. You may find it with english subtitles on youtube. I saw it on veoh tv.

What is you favorite type of project to take on vacation? Scarf, stuffed toys, anything easy and small.

So, the windows in my house have been installed but now that the frames are a bit larger than the original, the blind sthat we use to have don't fit! So off to go curtain shopping and it seems nothing will go. Right now I have black card board paper I got from the dollar store blocking the light from entering my room cuz my windows faces east. I would post up pictures form when I Mother insisted on having ALL the furnitures covered in plastic to keep dust off except that I had packed away the USB cord when I was moving stuffs form my room to my Mother's room and I can't remember where I had put it cuz I still haven't had time to un pack the stuff in my room yet, I just moved them back into my room so my Mother can walk to her bed without hitting something of mine. So no pics yet.

So I had a very interesting week. First I started to move all my furniture in a house to 4 feet away from the windows cuz Iam getting new windows installed on Thursday. Which means my house is in a mess. Then last Wednesday I find out my computer is not working. So I called my friend to see if he had time to help me with it. I finally got my computer home last night at 11:30 cuz I worked 2 jobs yeasterday, though both were only for like 6 hours. VERY HAPPY that I have my computer back and working. I had been watching this Japanese vampire movie and wa sonly half way done last week. Also, my brother had given me a scare by thinking that my Hard drive was dead which meant that EVERYTHING in my computer was gone. Thank God it wasn't the case.

Just heard from my SP12 pal tha tI will be gettign 2 more packages ^_^ Very excited!!!. I like parcels!

The pal I'm spoiling had received her first package form me as well. I like it when parcels arrive. I had one parcel lost before and am still a little upset by it U_U.

As a kid, what did you look forward to most about summer vacation/break/holiday?

Sleeping in ^_^ then getting to enjoy the sun.

SO I went a little crazy over the weekend and did these. My Nephew wanted shrimp. I wasn't sure if he wanted it to look dead or alive but since he asked me after having shrimps at lunch I assumed he's taking about those.

My co-worker got these for myself and the other staffs at work. I got the Sleeping Sickness (purple one)^_^, one got Rabies (red), one is Malaria (green), and last one is Chicken Pox (red and wht). They're called Giant Microbes. They're fantastic ^_^

I’ve been knitting more often these past few years. I first learned when I was a kid form my Mother. I consider myself a beginner to intermediate. I can knit socks, mitts, scarves, toques, and stuffed toys.

Japanese Dramas ^_^

So....I've been watching A LOT of Japanese Dramas lately. It started off with Tadashii Oji No Tsukurikata (How To Produce a Prince), Hana Kimi (~the translation sort of sounds like a porn name ^_^ so I'm leaving it out), and finally Hachimitsu to Clover (Honey & Clover). They are all about an hour long with 12 episodes. I watch them with english subtitles. I'm oogling one of the actors who is sadly 2 years younger than me U_U. He's pretty good with english! ^_^

Can't wait to get my SP12 partner so I can go shopping for goodies!

So I decided to make my nephew a ladybug. However, three Monday mornings ago (the day I was gonna give the bug to him) My Mother and I received a phone call at 5:11 am from my Aunt saying that my Grandmother had fell in the bathroom and hit her head and that they have just called the ambulance. She is fine now but will need to move around the house using a walker. She stayed at the hospital for a week to make sure everything is alright. Even thought I was at the hospital early in the morning that day I still dropped off the labybug aff to my nephew that afternoon to keep him company. He LOVED it a lot. In fact so much that he asked me to make him a Mommy and Daddy ladybug too. As you can see in the picture I gave him the little one first so its in the worst shape and the green one was the newest. I did take this pic three days after he got the complete collection so they have all been through a bit ^_^This touque, I found the pattern on Ravelry. It took only one skein of NORO. The pattern is from here. The shape may look funny cuz it's sitting on a roll of bounty paper towels. ^_^

These lovely treats are form a co-worker who's brother co-owns a CHOCOLATE FACTORY!My favorite is the white chocoalte with rese petals. MMmmmm!

Snail!

So last week my nephew wanted a snail and asked me to make one so here is the first one cuz after seeing the first one he wanted a baby one too. This one is made with felt. I made up the pattern. The second one I made which I forgot to take a pic of is croched out of the same colors as the felt one. Got the pattern from Ravelry.This package I will be sending to my cousin in New Jersey for his wedding which I won't be able to attend cuz it will be right before my work place will be getting busy. Plus my mother will not be able to get time off for similar reason.
Today for the entire day I've been having the most horrible headache. Went home after work and slept till now, which means I will be getting very little sleep tonight O_0

My nephew was been diong O.K. He's just started to loose his hair but thank God it's only by the back of his head where the radiation is going on so he can't see it in the mirror. His preference in food has also changed a bit cuz he was throwing up a bit last week but good thing it has stopped. we're still doing our best to keep him as happy as possible. Like making him a snail on demand ^_^

Sick Again, This Sucks!

O_0 Blah! Had to leave work early on Friday cuz I had the worst headache ever, plus my nose would not stop running the whole day. Now I just feel like crap.

Which meant I haven't been able to play with my nephew the past 4 days U_U cuz his immune system is lower at the moment.

Went to the Docs with my Mother cuz she is sick too but she started to get sick before I did. She got Penesilyn and I was told to just get more rest and drink lots of water. The funny thing is my Mother's strep throat is contagious so you would think the Doc might give me somethind to prevent me from getting as sick as her cuz we live together but nope, just sleep and lots of fluids.

On a brighter note, I had forgotten to mention some of the goodies I had received while I had dissapeared from 'blog world'.

This was a Christmas present from DellyBean and for my birthday she got me a gift cert. to Ewe Asked for It which I spent on the yarns in my last post.KnitPicks Option needles!!! The whole set!!!!!

Then there is this from "Raura" for my birthday.

Where I've Been To

On Jan 10th I had returned from my Christmas vacation in Hong Kong. Had tonnes of fun, ate lots of food, seen lots of crowds ^_^ Here's the proof. This last picture is at one of the the subway staions I was at. The last train had left only 2 minutes ago and in 2 mionutes thes was how much people that had gathered to board the next train. Th efirst 2 is on New Years Eve "by" the Harbor. I say by cuz it was impossible to get near the harbor that night cuz of the crowds.

Then I came back to minus 20 something degrees and got sick (it was plus 20 in H.K.).

Then I went to a BridalFair with my bride of 2009. Ran into my little cousin and it turns out that both brides had chossen the exact same day to get married.

Got sick again.

Then found out that my 3 and a half year old nephew has a tumor the size of a small mandirine in the back of his head by the cerebellum. They were able to remove it the next morning. (Thank God!) Took a few weeks off of work to help out the Family. Our entire world was tuned upside down because it was soo unexpected. Had relatives flying in from Toronto that evening and a few nights later. He had been throwing up for 18 days straight and it was the 3rd time they took him to the emergency before someone said to take a look at his head. I had purchased a month parking pass cuz parking at hospitals are expensive!. He is now going under radiation to prevent the tumor from comming back. The Doc says he has a Grade 2 tumor. 1 being non-aggressive and 4 being most aggressive. I've been at their house everyday after work to play with him cuz his paretns says that keeping him happy will help him to recover faster.

then found out my little cousin decided to change her wedding to a weekend before my friends. (Thank God again).

Now it's yarn time ^_^ I've just bought 2 balls of Noro silk and a new Bamboo yarn they got at the yarn shop I usually go to - Ewe Asked for It.

Started to crochet more octopi (more than one octopus ^_^). Planning ot give them out as wedding presents this year.

So Dellybean and I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and the little church was soooo cute!Every since then I've been busy busy busy.

Busy with work and Christmas presents. No, I did not make those presents....did't have time. I know (*gasp!*)

Dellybean had inroduces these chips to me and now I'm gonna go to Safeway to get some ^_^ They're addictive.Last weekend I wetnt out ot dinner with some friends and tried this wine. It was good, not too expensive.

It has started to snow this week. Good thing I just got my winter tires in last week. ^_^

A co-worker of mine dropped in to the office today to show me some paper cutouts he did as decorations. They made me smile.

The Christmas rush has started......

Done: 2.3 scarves, 1.25 Mittenettes, -2 aprons, and -1 toque (that's suppose to be for myself)

Purchased: 4 gifts so far...

I juat came back from grocery shopping at Costco and Superstore and everything went up by $1-$2!!!!!! It's insane! Don't see my salary going up u_u .

On the brighter note I think I'm almost ready for Christmas. By that I did not mean I have all the presents ready, heavens no. (If there is anyone who is all done by now I want you to get away from me....go far far away!) I mean I'm slowly getting into the shopping spirit ^_^

I'm crocheting me a toque right now. Technically I should be able to finish it tonight but as you can see I'm typing right now and I tend to type w/ 2 hands therefore not gonna finish tonight ^_^ It's marroon colour.

Had a busy few weeks.

Finished the fingerless mitts for my cousin. The light blue and the medium blue don't really match but I like how they are different. Now ppl are gonna ask my cousin about her mitts and she can tell ppl that her little cousin made them for her ^_^.

Went wedding dress shopping with my friend. She tried on about 12 dresses and we have 4 that we liked so that is good. It would suck to spend half a day and not have a single thing we like. Next I think we should start looking for a venue fro the wedding ceremony ^)^ *hint hint*

Christmas is comming up and I'm really really behind on making stuffs for ppl. I have a few scarves and fingerlesss mitts on the go aand that's it.

Rock Mountain Wine Festival

This festival is AMAZING!!! I work as a hostess for the booth which this festival is held at ^_^ and I get to try all these new types of alcohol! on Thursday night I tried this Port that is 20 yrs old! It was GOOD. The 40 yr one is too sweet th e20 yr one is perfect, so I bought a bottle as a present for my Grnadma ^_^ she like to have a sip of "something" after dinner. Also I finally got to try some wine that is not dry, I didn't know such a thing exsisted ^_^ (jj) The wine we usually serve at work is always dry. Some ppl like it, I don't.

My Boo-ty 2 package has been sent out onMonday already, hopefully it will arrive this conmming week (fingers crossed, Canadian postal and I dont' really get along). Can't wait to get mine!
To the Boo-ty Pal who had me as a swap partner: Sorry but I was unable to open the Hallmark card you sent me. Thank you for your thoughts though ^_^

I started this week on a (I want to say MY, but I know it will probably end up being given out) green tone Wolly Bullys. I'm making it into a scarf as usual. I had made a lot of stuffs for ppl as x-mas presents bu tbirthdays came up before that and now I need to start cratting for x-mas ~_~

Another pair of mittenettes are done! I usually only do the right one then leave them till I remember about them ^_^ OR the left one is either a bit too big or too small compaired to the right one and then I have to make another new set for the lonely ones ~_~. These ones are also going out as b-day presents.

A few weeks ago I was working for my part time as a hostess for the Festiveal of Fine Chefs and here is what out station looks like.

Here is what we served. Yum! ^_^ I of course got to try them all.Been yarn shopping again. Guilty as charged! ^_^

These ones Delly got htem for me to make pumpkins. I started to make and gather stuffs for my Boo-ty 2 Swap Pal.

Last, I finally finished a pair of fingerless gloves for Ah Mosh, started then last winter (no pics yet).

So over the weekend my Mother and I was helping out w/ some wedding flowers and the Mother of the Bride spent over $1200 on flowers only. We spent over 12 hours doing the floral arrangements and decorations. The wedding was beautiful and everyone was happy. I loved the Bride's dress I only got time to take a picture of the back.

I got this eye shadow set from Sephora and tinted lip conditioner form M.A.C. They make me feel pretty which makes me happy ^_^

This summer we were very fortunate in hiring a third assistant to help out at work and this past Tuesday was her last day. She made this bracelet for me as a thanks. I got her some yarn, a book, and some stitch markers cuz Delly was able to get her to start knitting ^ _^

As for my Hedera socks I think I've only done about 10 rows only in the past week cuz another needle broke which made me a bit unhappy. Good thing I have a spare set of metal U.S. 1s. Then I found a half knitted scarf in my closet which are of black alpaca and I did about 15 rows of it. Now I think I will do a couple rows of this lace scarf I started last year and said I would finish by December (2006) but is not even half way done.

*sigh* so many unfinished projects.

The picture speaks for itself.....This is how far I got on the Hedera Socks with the yarn my sockapalooza pal got me when IT happened. I was patiently waiting at the doctors cuz my Mother keeps pestering me about seeing a dermatologist for my acne. Knowing that there are always line ups at the doctors I bought my socks along and THIS HAPPENS!!!!!

One the bright side I finished and gave my cousin the Moogle (pattern by Amy Shimel). The Moogle does have eyes but I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to my cousin. He's moving to Japan to teach english. I caught him as he was loading his suitcase into his dad's car.

I had another long weekend from work and my Uncle lent me season 1 &2 of Heroes and it was great. I saw it all in 15 hours ^_^.

Here's what I got...

There's hand dyed yarn from Spinning Bunny, bird of paradis color. Socks that fit perfectly of course ^_^ They're of bamboo cotton. Hee Hee BAMBOO! ( I love that word.....no, I'm not high, I just find that word very interesting and I like bamboo). A besutiful cotton bag that I can put some small knitting in for on the go. Cute stationaries and a lovely card.

See, they fit! Oh! The pocky is in my stomach already! I couldn't resist. I love Pocky ^_^

Ahh!!!!! It turns out that I was suppose to have the Sockapalooza socks sent out by th e2nd not the 3rd!!!! SORRY SOCKAPALOOZA PAL!!!! However, I did send it by Express so you'll still get it this comming week.

Very happy that one of my guy friends asked me to teach him how to crochet. He wants to make the Moogle doll by Amy Shimel. He's had a bit of trouble starting the basics (making the chains and sc-ing) but I have faith in him that he will be turning out Moogles of all colors in no time ^_^.

Can't wait till my sock arrives ^_^!

I'm really starting to panic about the socks I'm knitting cuz I'm only here with the second sock.

Tomorrow I'm gonna be knitting non stop the whole day to try to get it done. It turned out great I just need to finish them ^_^ before Aug 2nd!!!

I got an anime e-card from my other Sockapalooza Pal telling me that my socks are done! The card made me very happy. The pic on the card is from KiKi's Delivery Service and the song that was playing was one of the theme song from Gundam Wing, both great cartoons ^_^ Thank you Sockapalooza Pal!

Like many others around the world I have already finished reading the last Harry Potter. I WILL NOT GIVE OUT SPOILERS!!! Thought for those who have not read it yet and the last time you read the 6th one was the day it came out I suggest you might want to read 6th book again before starting cuz I was a tad lost when I started to read the 7th one.

Saturday July 21st I woke up and got the book by 8am. Went home to dress for a wedding (ceremony was at 9:30....yes I was reading at the ceremony and lunch) got home at 2pm ploped on my bed and read till 4:30 where I got dressed again for the wedding dinner. My mother made the cake so we had to arrive earlier to set it up. Took some pictures (they had given my mother and I saris to wear to the wedding) and continued to read. East Indian weddings TAKE FOREVER ^_^ dinner was suppose to be at 6:30 didn't start till 8:45 thank God they had a small starters buffet with veg. spring rolls and pikoras. Thought I ws told not to eat too much cuz there was more comming. (they didn't lie, they only lied about the time when I was gonna be fed properly again) So I read while I was waiting for food. They had speaches but the speakers were only facing one direction and we were seated beside the stage in a corner (very convenient for me) so we could hardly hear what was spoken. There was a dance afterwards, by then I was down to 50 pgs left, I kept reading till 11:45 when they finally cut the cake so I had to run and take pictures. I finished the book, almost cried cuz its finished. Took more pictures when my mother finally decided we can go.

As for my sockapoolza I'm only on the leg of the second pair so now its gonna be all knitiing knitting knitting for me. 5 more days till it has to be sent out.

Cabin Trip was Fun!!!

The Monday/Tuesday weekend crew from work went on a little road trip to visit other historic sites on July 8th-10th. However, I must throw this in right now cuz when I got back to work I saw on my desk some little gifts from Rox that was sent together with CraftyBean's gift. Beautiful crochet necklaces. I can wear these any style I want.Thank you very much Rox!

So about the trip. We stayed at a supervisor's family cabin and here was my sleeping area.

The next day we went to Fort Battleford in Saskatchewan that interpreted the North West Mountain Police's role in the development of the west in 1885. This provided power to run the site. I thought this pic looked great with the clouds in the back. ^_^ The ppl there were nice to do a cannon demonstration for us. This was what I got while trying to plug my ears and taking a pic at the same time. I believe the black on th etop left was my chin ^_^ an dyou can see the smoke and a NWMP near the bottom. Beautiful Sask. fields from the back of the car. The World's Largest Tomahawk. The view from the cabin.This is Fort George back in Alberta. There were only logs to outline the original buildings but is was still a beautiful site none the less.

Just before I left for the trip, there was a yarn sale at Ewe Asked For It, this is what I got. That is all for now...still haven't seen Transformers, Ocean's 13, Die Hard, or Harry Potter yet. *sigh* need to do that soon.

Mom is still sick

Had another interesting week that involved sitting at MediCenter for 2 hrs, the Emergancy for 7.5 hrs, then the next day back to MediCenter for another 4.5 hrs.

So Monday, my Mother came down with a serious case of strep throat. Tuesday, drove her to MediCenter and she got Anibiotics. Wednesday, after dinner she couldn't stand the dizziness that she's been feeling since Monday night so I took her to this mini emergency center at the north side of the city sat forever, she got a pill that didn't work 2 hrs later so they had to give her a shot of gravol. They did some tests on her heart cuz she had felt some chest pain. Found that she has a slight abnormal beating of th eheart so they told us to take the report to our family doctor and see what he thinks. Got home at 2:20 am. So in the morning it was back to Medicenter for more tests and pills for the dizziness. Dr. says nothing he can do about the heart thing. O_0!

Saw White Stripes at my second job as a bar cashier. They were fansastc! Some dude gave me a t-shirt ^_^ it was $30!!! it's shaped with buttons!!! no, I didn't give my number out, wasn't that good looking ^_^

Mosh just came back from a visito to Toronto with her boyfriend and she got me these. Very lovely ^_^.

Next weekend I will be going out to a cabin/museum trip with some co-workers that share the same weekend as me. Can't wait!

Spent a lot of money this week. First we got a new toaster and iron because the old ones were falling apart. Then we got a new lawn mower (sadly it didn't come with a hot guy that will actually mow the lawn for me) $$$Last, my old monitor decided to go blank so I now have a Samsung 19" LCD $$$ it was the cheapest one at Future Shop. I probably should have shop around a bit more but my computer was turned on and the monitor was not for me to log off and shut down so I had to act fast ^_^.

On thursday and friday my nephew had to dress up as a person form medieval times so I made him these out of cardboard and tin foil. His mother wanted him to be a prince, I wanted to turn him into a dragon........

My socapalooza sock is going pretty well. I'm done the back of the heel then got confused by the pattern so I'll have to wait till tomorrow to check with CraftyBean about what I am doing ^_^

It has not been a good week

First off I woke up on Wednesday to find my fridge not cool and the freezer only cold.... my ice cream(s) was everywhere. So I went to put some stuffs into one of the 2 deep freezers I have in the garage when I noticed that one of them was only cool as well. had to call repair man and he suggest that we get new ones instead of trying to fix them. $$$$!

The next day I woke up and found the house really quiet....there was nothing comming out of my vents. So I went to the basement to check and the furnace looked fine the lights were all on and the digital thermostat looked fine so I turned th etemp down to 15 degrees C to see what would happen and nothing did so I turned it up to 25 th enext day to see and nothing happened. So had to call repair guys again. $95 later (no idea what he did I think it was one switch) it was back on.

Last night, I went to mow the lawn. First it was out of gas so I had to go out to get more. Then as I was mowing the front side (I like to do th eback first) when all of a sudden there was this dip on my lawn and a metel thing was poking out the mower got caught a bit. I turned it off as soon as I heard a noise but it was too late. The motor is now making this really loud noise and shakes a lot. Had to use the trimmer for the rest of my lawn. My arms and back hurts like hell now. The thing that was poking out was part of a gas line or something. Nothing I could do about it except put more top soil by it to "lift" the lawn back up.

I had rushed to finish this for my Mother's friend at work thinking that she is working the next day but she didn't have to go to work for the next 3 days. *sigh*

So very tired, there's a staff party tonight, I don't think I will make it.

On a brighter note, I've been doing pretty good on my Sockapalooza4 sock. Almost done the cuffs and then it's onto the heel. *gasp!*

Went to a friends birthday garden party last night and had a blast! Jelly w vodka ^_^ Lots of food and watermelon punch w vodka again. Myself and 2 other gals went on a tour of the house on our own and was blown away by the bathrooms in the house! 4 bathrooms in total, 2 which has double sinks and a hottub in the master bedroom. (shhhh!) we took some pictures of the bathrooms cuz they were so pretty (no we are not weirdos!)

Life has been exciting at Fort Edmonton Park. First there was the sheeps that were born. One sheep had two lambs one week and the next sheep had three the next week!!! Here are the twins.Then while we were busy at work, I happened to look out the window and saw Abe Lincon's shadow on the building across the street!!!

Everyone at work now has at least one costume for opening this Sunday. First rush almost done now it's on the the second sets of costumes! We've been working 10 to 13 hours a day for the passt week and a half.

Last but not leasts, the Sockapalooza yarn for my pal!!! She likes Happy colors ^_^ Crafty Bean and I had swapped yarn form each other's stash (!!!gasp!). I happened to have what she needed and she had what was perfect for my pal so all turned out great!

Been VERY BUSY at work. Sorry for all the non returned phone calls and e-mails. My past week had literally been wake up, drive to work, work, drive home, sleep, and repeat for the next day. Only a few more days till the park opens.............

Today at lunch my co-workers and I went to the candy shop and I had to buy these cuz they are sooooo pretty.
Yeaterday at woek we had a 25% off day for staff and I got a tonne of stuffs ^_^

A train cookie cutter for when my Mother or myself bake for my nephew. He loves trains.

A measuring spoon for a smidgen, a dash, and a pinch. Very handy when your Mother is telling you recepies.

This cup and saucer set was $24 and I got 2 sets. I've been eyeing them since last year.

I also got a purple dream catcher for my room and a few more as gifts. Some Coca Cola salt and pepper shackers as house warming gifts for my friends. Also I stocked up on rasberry drop candies ^_^.

Finally, my latest projects are mini Momo Octopi. One red adnd one beige ^_^.

My friend C really likes the fish I made her, she named it Nemo.

This is "somebody's" b-day present! We're going out for pasta that night I believe ^_^It doesn't quite look like what's it's suppose to look like but I think it's cute non the less. I think I decrased too little on the fish's "bum". The eyebrows gives it more character ^_^.
